I purchased a Frigidaire washer, dryer and 2 pedestals from HH Gregg during October. At that time, I also purchased the 5 year extended warranty. Approximately a year after it was installed we noticed the washer was leaking. We have called several times for repair. During the last repair it was determined that the leak was centralized at the faulty drum seal. The repairman indicated the existing internal rust was evidence that the leak had been existing for a long duration. He felt that it would be a waste of time and resources to fix the seal.instead, he recommended that the Warranty Company (N.E.W.) replace the entire unit. N.E.W. Refuses to replace the unit because the warranty does not "cover rust". When I insisted the rust was due to the improper service, N.E.W. Stated that I had neglected the unit, therefore, they are no longer able to service the unit.
