I have been visiting the only burger king in Arvin for years. Lately, when I pull through the drive-through, I give the clerk my money, and they ask me to back up behind the pole so that I don't increase their time per car ratio. I'm not sure how the employees are compensated or trained with the timing mechanism. But, I am sure that "tricking the system" by having customers back up to restart the clock is not the intention. And, this practice is irritating to the customer.in addition, I am 47 years old and was called "G" when I received my order. "Here you go, G", were the words that accompanied my order. There is no G in any of the parts of my name, and i'm not a rap star. I consider being called G disrespectful. Mostly, however, I don't like going forward, reverse, forward, and sometimes, reverse again, if the food is slow, to make the shift's drive-thru times look good.
