I bought my cellphone at Suncom and the first thing that bothered me was how they don't tell you until after you sign the contract that the first payment will be a triple payment! Then they told me how I'd get a $35 Rebate for signing up with them and I did just as told when I filled out the rebate forms and sent all the required information like instructed.
A couple months later I get this paper in the mail saying they were disapproving my rebate? I emailed them and was told to send them a copy of my receipt (did they lose it?), they also said once they got this it would take them 48 hours to process and I'd get my $30 rebate. What happened to the other $5?
Almost 2 weeks later I check on the website about tracking the rebate and learn they disapproved it because its not a new contract? What? I wouldn't have the phone if it weren't a new contract? I never had service with these people before... I gave them about a $200 deposit, paid for all these activation fees and they say its not a new contract?
