I was in the market for a Sigma SD10 digital camera, and did some shopping on the web. Www.expresscameras.com came up with the cheapest price around. We saw what the price included, but did not see a list of what was NOT INCLUDED. I placed the order online, i received and email confirming order, BUT it also instructed me to call for a VERBAL confirmation or else the order would not ship.
When I called to confirm order, the person who answered the call took a couple of details then PUT ME ON HOLD. Someone else picked up the phone and when asked what else came with the camera, he basically said that it did not come with batteries, no Flash Card, no cables, the advertised lenses were not Sigma... I basically would have to add another $400 to the cost to get what I needed. So I felt that they low-balled the price to get you to place the order, then they force you to call them and that's when they lowered the BOOM on you.
