Fraud/scam/theft alert!!! Recently, we entered into an agreement with 3GC Group, owned by Henry Park. It was for the lease of a ShoreTel IP phone system.
They demanded payment in advance, which should have thrown up red flags. Since we were financing it, Henry Park just told us "sign here, don't worry about it, we will take care of you, I promise". What he didn't tell me was that we signed a delivery acceptance document for the bank. After months of excuses, stories and delays in installing the ShoreTel system, we decided to call a competitor (BTX and Ken Trelani) to have phones in time for our entire company to move. We sent a written notice of cancellation to 3GC Group, Inc.
Imagine our surprise when we found out Henry had received a check for $170,000 from the leasing bank and cashed it. He won't give us any money, and won't return our calls, instead referring us to his attorney.
