I went to Dalworth Stereo to get a brand new stereo installed and to add speakers and a booster. I spent over 700.00 and I brought the radio with me. I was at the store over 5 hours.
They close at 9:00 PM and when it was time for them to close, they still wern't finished with my stereo. I was asked to pay so that the sales clerk could close out his register. I did. I was directed down to where my brand new 2000 truck was.
There was a couple of kids trying to figure out why the left rear speaker would not work. I stood around and watched. I was told that the factory did not hook the speaker up. Funny how it worked when I listened to it. So, after hours of waiting, I got in and took off.
They slammed the door behind me and before I got out of the parking lot, the amp started sparking, and blowing out sounds. I turned the radio off and of coarse, they were already closed. I had an appointment with Ford, for the 3rd time to get my rear door fixed, (it would not close properly but that's another story) so I had to take the truck in the next day. Little did I know that it would take over a week at the Ford Dealership (5-Star Ford) where they did not fix the problem but damaged the door (another story). The truck being less than 2 months old.
I had Ford look at the stereo situation and they reported that wires were taped together loosely and had grounded out, ruining the radio. They put in a toggle switch so the radio could be played. I instructed them to take all of Dalworth's stereo stuff out and I would return them to Dalworth, KING OF FREE, Haaaaaaaa.
Maury Lawry laughed in my face when I offered to bring the stuff back. He was very rude and would not replace the radio that his employees ruined. If you want to get your stereo messed up and for it to take hours and to get the boot when you try to handle the problem, go to DALWORTH, that's DALWORTH STEREO and they won't replace the 250.00 stereo that you just bought.
He also does AT&T phone, and the new electric company. Don't trust him. He is only out for himself. P.S. I have a good (I guess) amp and speakers for sale. They only costed me 700.00.
