Approached 8/11/04 by 2 young white males in a white ford explorer outside of k-mart shopping center in Grass valley CA.
Fell for the scam after seeing a rather impressive bill of sale and catalog listing the items amound high end home theatre systems.
Have now researched and found that this is a nationwide scam. However... One of the young men followed me into my bank as I was getting cash for the purchase and I am sure his picture is now part of the banks security tape. I also belive this bank has outdoor cameras, so their car should be on camera also.
Contact me if copies of bank security tape are necessary for any investigation or prosecution.
