Www.CITYWIDEDIGITAL.com, 196 AVENUE U, NEW YORK is by far the worst company you will ever deal with in your life. I placed in order on dec. 20 to have a sonytrv730 camcorder delivered to a customer in Wichita Kansas.

The reason for this was because UPS had lost the original camcorder that was scheduled to be delivered to this customer and out of the kindness of my own heart i used my visa check card to purchase another camcorder and have it shipped to kansas. Days past my credit card was not charged i called on Dec 31st to find out what was going on i was told that my credit card was declined.

I informed the rep that there was more than enough money in this account but however i provided her with my American xpress card information to get the order going.

She said to me that out of courtesy for not receiving any information from the company in reference to my card being declined More days went buy my card was not charged i called on January 2nd to find out again what was going on after being on hold for hours on end and being transfered at least 15 times i was told that the camcorder was now out of stock.

I asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with a manager by the name of steve who gave me some song and dance about it being the most popular camcorder and it should be in any day now. I thought on it overnight and decided to purchase the cam from somewhere else the following day i called citywidedigital the following day to cancel the order. Again i was placed on hold for hours on end and transferred several times. I finally spoke to a representative name Gary who said he would help me with canceling my order. He asked if he could place me on hold while cancellation of the order finished processing and i told him yes after being on hold for about 1 minute the line went dead! How convenient.

I called back immediately 30 more transfers another half hour holding finally i spoke with a gentleman and informed him of who i had spoke with previously and he put me on hold. He got back on the line and said mam your order has been cancelled i said is there a cancellation number, he said it again mam your order has been canceled, i said do i receive a cancellation number he said mam your order has been cancelled have a nice day and he hung up. On January 3rd I was checking transactions on my visa check card and noticed that citywidedigital had charged me 709.00 for a order that was supposed to be canceled and also on a credit card that i was told was declined.

I again tried to contact citywidedigital but could not continue to hold on forever. I finally got in touch with them and explained the whole situation. They told me that my order was never cancelled and it had indeed been charged to my card and shipped out UPS Ground. Remember this was the order that was supposed to have been shipped overnight, it was also the order that was declined on my card. And it was also the order that had been canceled by me on January 2nd!!!

The only advice they could give me was to have the customer refuse delivery when the camcorder arrived. Needless to say if someone informed you of a second camcorder shipping to your home at no fault of your own and asked if you would return it, what would you do? Today is January 8th the camcorder is scheduled for delivery on January 11th and it is up to the customer to refuse delivery so that i can receive a credit. Remember this is delivery of a cancelled order so that i can receive a 709.00 credit to my declined credit card.

The only thing i can do is pray that this customer has a heart. Please if you are planning to purchase electronics please do not consider citywidedigital as an option. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND THE AGGRAVATION!!! I did eventually speak to another manager there by the name of John at ext 207. Kudos to you John for being the only person at citywidedigital to show compassion and support and respect. As for the rest of the citywidedigital family. God says my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge and you my friends at citywidedigital lack the knowledge and the understanding to deal with the public. I will Pray for you.
