I am lodging a complaint, possibly preceding a lawsuit, regarding the inferior quality of a purchased refrigerator and the incompetence displayed in attempting to resolve issues related to the inferior product. I have attempted to get my GE Profile Refrigerator repaired for 6 months now. After numerous appointments, the issues remain unresolved. I have worked with only one employee who showed any competence (Rodney). Wrong parts have been ordered or no parts have been ordered, along with a host of other absurd scenarios. I purchased this refrigerator when I built my home in 2002. I live alone and appliances last a long time b/c they get little use.in the past 6 months, my refrigerator has had to have a new motherboard and blower fan, and the ice maker has NEVER worked properly. The remaining issue is that the front of the refrigerator has rusted and is VERY unsightly. When I attempt to call, I am transferred from employee to employee with no results. I will never buy a GE product again and urge all other consumers to reconsider before making a purchase from a company that offers inferior products and the worst consumer relations/product repair service I have ever dealt with.
