I have endured an ongoing nightmare with Independent Wireless. Like some people, I was very excited to have the opportunity to work from. I saw their ad on a job website and I applied. I first went to usacomplaints.com to see if anyone had problems with them. At that time, there were no entries for Independent Wireless. I thought the company was legit.
I charged $95 to my credit card to a reseller (Kagi) that IWS was using. This was to purchase a headset. I, too was on hold many times and when i wanted to leave a voicemail, I kept getting the voicemail is full. This was after 2 to 3 weeks after my purchase.
Finally i emailed "Shantee Williams" and she emailed me back. I'm still recovering from the shock that i finally had communication with her. I told her i purchased a headset and i haven't received it yet. Her only question to me was " Did your check clear?"
I stated to her that i used a credit card and the headset charge is there. Three dasy later i received a package containing a headset. I received a Cyber Acoustics AC-100 headset, that currently sales for $4 to $8.
I was able to receive a full refund on my credit card and i encourage others to do the same.
