Fatu 11-29-11 Zero help on any end, spoke with over 6 employees on multiple calls numbering over 15 times!

Purchased a (at the time brand new), original droid cell phone. Used it, and upon having issues with the phone i was sent a replacement warranty phone. I did as the instructions says and returned the original cell phone in the pre paid box / label back to Verizon Via FedEx.

Three months later i receive a bill for $639.57! For equipment charges. Supposedly the phone was never received at Verizon. So as im told i need to file a claim with Verizons warehouse and FedEx i do so. (Completed multiple claims every few days on both Verizon and FedEx).

I keep my due diligence and write down every persons name i speak with and even dates! Verizon started calling me from there collections department in Bellevue Washington million times a day. I answered the call in the evenings when i was home and would spend over a hour on the phone explaining all the stuff to them and providing tracking numbers etc...

Upon months and months and now currently over a year and then some im still calling back as they send me collection letters! Im a Verizon Wireless customer as well as the other 4 members of my family and have more than always paid our bills.

I spoke with finally a good person/s in Irvine, Ca (Close to me) who said that if i fax over my bill / fedex claim form on fedex letterhead / cover letter etc... She would be more than happy to help a Verizon customer who is doing their due diligence.

I did all of the above and confirmed all the information went through and after the weekend i call back on monday and no help!

After calling verizon over 16 times, faxing paperwork, doing claims, talking to mulitple departments and getting rudely (not to mention people mumbling or laughing talking to co workers while im telling them the situation) transferred to multiple departments as people hang up and never call back, i call again.

Finally a gentlemen named Robert with Verizon Recovery I believe, assures me on 3-25-11 that sir i "understand your frustrations and it makes no sense that you would call back for this long and have all that info, and never return the phone" he also tells me that accidents do happen and if the package was lost or never made it from the FedEx truck to their warehouse then it will never be tracked hence my problems.

So after not receiving any letters or collections or calls etc for months and months (8 months later to be exact) i receive a "demand for payment" collections letter from another collections company.

After almost blowing a coronary i call verizon again... As Fatu mumbles and jumbles on about if i want to pay a payment on collections or setup a plan i tell her again the situation and that "Robert" on 3-25-11 handled the credit and said everything would be fine. She does nothing after i asked to speak to a representative or manager or supervisor and says to call the collection company again.

Looooooonnnngggggg story short Verizon customer service is by far the worst bunch of people i have ever dealt with in customer service (people in India are better surprisingly) they are still charging me $639.57 for a phone that was never even priced anywhere near that high.

Why would a Verizon customer of over 5 years (who also has 4 more paying members) call back regarding a $639.57 over 15 times spanning over a year???

Maybe because im a good customer who never ripped off Verizon and wants to remain a customer because thats what good loyal customers do! Seriously pissed off and why would anybody waste their time calling and calling and faxing paperwork and doing claims upon claims over a phone they simply never returned and kept THATS BROKEN!

Verizon Wireless is a joke! Verizon Wireless is a money hungry scam! They truly could care less about their customers, im even still using the same Verizon phone they sent me as a replacement! It all makes no sense! Pure foolishness and idiocracy. Makes zero business sense to lose a $400 plus account a month who pays regularly for years and has at this point given thousands upon thousands dollars to them and then make them want to go somehwere else. Because thats what i will be doing and truthfully its Verizon losing not me.
