I bought this fridge 3 years ago. Mutherboard went out and they charged me $300 to fix it after the repair man told me he see this often. THIS after my ge Mongram dishwasher (also 3 years old) burned up and melted everything in the unit and THIS, after they tell me there is a problem with the heat mechanism shutting off but there haven't been enough burned up units for a recall of this specific one. They have made me a generous (HA HA) offer to pay $560 to replace my piece of crap GE dishwasher with a NEW piece of crap GE dishwasher... Am I luck or what.
Maybe we can go through this agin in 3 years... Who is the fool then huh?
I own over 1000 shares of GE common stock. If I sell today I do so at a loss.
SO BE IT! I will not own stock in a company like this. This company should be ashamed of it's quality, or lack of.
DO NOT BUY GE PRODUCTS!!!
I will make it my mission when I speak with anyone buying a house or remodeling to mention this tid bit of information.
