I've purchased this item from Outpost.com (Order Number J5520822) on 9/24. The item was advertised as $25 with $25 rebate. Sent rebate form immediately upon receipt of the item, in the first week of October.
In January I've first contacted Columbia Telecommunications, inquiring about the fate of my rebate. They told me the form has been received, and the request is pending. Since then, I've been calling them every few weeks, to hear the same thing: "We're sending rebate checks every day, yours going out in two weeks, please wait". Recently, they've put an answering machine on the 800 number mentioned on the form — needless to say, the calls are never returned.
I found their direct number on usacomplaints.com and called them today. All the attempts to find any info about the rebate were in vain — apparently "rebate team" was conviniently in a meeting.
As another person mentioned — worst part, their product really sucks.
