I work at a HD in Florida. The first incident was when a flooring associate took me over to the indoor/outdoor rugs because they were on sale and it was a great price. It was so good that I purchased two and she purchased two. Due to a different associate mismarking the product I got wrote up for purchasing them because they could not prove that I stole them - which I was accused of. The other associate that purchased two was not written up. The second incident is that the last three months they have been taking money out of my paycheck because of a letter that they sent out giving a deadline. I followed through with the terms of their letter, they didn't and have been stealing money that I worked for out of my check. When I contacted them with their letter as proof they said "Yes, you are correct. We did not provide the documentation needed. BUT, we are not going to refund your money." This is after Quinita in Benefits informed me that I would get all my money back and it would be retro to 10/15/10. NOW, my main goal is life is to post all over the internet that you NEED TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM HOME DEPOT. They are theives, they sell junk, they don't follow through on what they advertise or mail out (I still have the letter as proof) and Frank the CEO could care less about anyones complaints. He doesn't get them and doesn't read them. I'll NEVER shop there again much less enter any of their stores. They have no business BEING in business... Lol... And they say Lowe's is going bankrupt.
