Uncles Stereo Inc. After over 6 weeks has not shipped purchased items Carteret, New Jersey

Running log of problems with this company:

02-16-04 Called in order for DWIN TransvisionTV3

02-17-04 Received message back concerning charge card info, my name and card info was not correct on their end. I asked the woman whom I corrected the info with when I should receive the unit. She said 10 days to two weeks.

03-04-04 Called back after two weeks asking about when I should receive the unit. I was told by Mike that it had not shipped but was expected to ship the next week. He would call me with the tracking info.

03-11-04 Mike called asked me what color of unit I wanted, white or blue. I said Blue and when would it ship. He said it would ship next week and he would call with the trackiing info etc.

03-19-04 Having not heard from Mike by 11:25 MDT, I called and talked to Sam. He could not find the order, they had my last name spelled incorrectly, Huatt instead of Hyatt. He said they have not received the Unit and expected it any day, within the next 2 or 3 days. I told him the lack of this unit was holding up my entire project. He said they would call with tracking info.
03-24-04 Called 1330 MDT asked to talk to Sam, was told he would call me back within 15-20 minutes.

03-24-04 Called back 1415, Sam answered, said he was not given the message to call me. He put me on hold, when he returned he said that the would have the TV3 model in Black on Monday, they had the TV3 in white in stock. I said I would call on Monday to get the shipping info, he said give him until Tuesday to get it into the system. I agreed, said I would call back for the shipping info on Tuesday. (3-30-04)

Called on Wed 3-31-04 asked for Sam was told he would be gone for about a month. He asked if he could help, I explained that I was calling to get shipping information on a Dwin projector I had ordered 6 weeks ago. He said I needed to talk to Mike at 1-800-978-6253. Called, asked for Mike and was placed on hold. Held for 20 minutes, hung up and called back, asked again for Mike, was again placed on hold. After holding for 10 seconds Mike picked up. I explained that I was looking for the shipping record for a Dwin projector ordered 6 weeks ago, I was again placed on hold. After about a minute hold Mike came back on the line, said he had called the distributer and left a message, he would call me when he heard back. I asked today? He said he would call either way. I verified my cell number with him. Received a message on my cell phone from Chris, said that my projector would be in tomorrow and would ship either tomorrow or the following day.

04-01-04 1430MST Called Chris at 1-888-265-0442, he said my projector did come in and he would ship it and I should have it next week. I asked him to email me the tracking info. He indicated that they have been having computer problems and would rather call and provide that info. I asked him to again use my cell phone for that call. I was never called back.

04-02-04 Called for Chris at 1630 Eastern time to inquire about the shipping tracking information. He said the items had been shipped and gave me tracking info for two boxes. 1z8y50923941561490 ups. Later in the afternoon I checked on the tracking. Noticed that billing information had been received at 1507 Eastern, then was voided at 1530. Shipment had been cancelled. It was now to late to call back.
