I purchased a PCU-3 from Hydrogen Fuel Systems and It was defective. I sent it back and it took them just under month to repair it and several email inquiries were ignored. Then I was told I had to pay the shipping back after the repair. When the unit arrived it still did not work. At that point I wanted a refund and no longer wanted to keep using their products.
Bill Corless refused to refund the purchase price and only offered to send me yet another unit. After quite a few email exchanges he finally agreed to issue a refund providing I send the defective unit back. So it was sent back and at this point I was out almost $50 just in shipping costs.
Priority mail tracking showed it was delivered on Sat July 30th.By Tues I had not heard anything from Bill. After emailing him yet again he replied and tried to tell me that he had to deduct 17% for Ebay and PayPal fees. I did not purchase his product off Ebay and PayPal only charges 2.9% to the sellers.
Then after calling him out on that attempted deception he then wanted to charge me the 2.9% PayPal fee. I insisted that after all I had been through that I wanted a full refund.
Then he completely backed out of his agreement claiming I had damaged the unit and would not issue a refund at all. Only to send yet another unit to me.
At this time I do not have a functioning PCU-3 unit or the money I sent him to buy it. I have saved all of our email exchanges to document this situation.
