I bought a Sony digital video camera in November for my business.in January I took it to Best Buy, hoping for an exchange, since the picture was breaking up, and I had sent a client home with an unusable video.
Was told that Sony did not allow exchanges and neither did Best Buy, except for the first 14 days. That was not made very clear at time of purchase.
Camera was sent out for repair - 2 weeks - received a phone call saying it had to go to Sony - another 2 weeks. Camera returned to me March 2 in worse shape than when it went in. Called Sony who said too bad so sad, talk to Best Buy, it's their policy. Called Best Buy repair manager Danielle who said too bad so sad, bring it back for another repair, it's Sony policy. Did that. After 2 weeks, still haven't heard from Best Buy.
My business is still without a camera and nobody but me seems to care.
Best Buy is not the best place to buy.
