The sales representative called one of our retail stores in Illinois and indicated they had an overstock of toner cartridges and wanted to confirm the printer type and shipping address so they can ship them to our store. The entire conversation was misleading and made our store manager believe that the corporate office had ordered something that was being shipped to him and they needed to confirm the site information.
They shipped 4 toner cartridges and billed us $1,658 for something we normally pay $199.96. We refused the shipment and now they are threatening to sue us for a "25% restocking fee" and shipping costs.
We offered to pay for the 4 remanufactured cartridges under the same terms as our current vendors who supply us with OEM cartridges for $49.99 each and no shipping cost and they refused and immediately threatened to take legal action against the company for payment.
