My elderly aunt and uncle started a WorldCom account in April. Since then, they have received late bills with 3 months listed, threatening to send THEM to small claims, etc, if not paid immediately.
In September my uncle died. I am helping my aunt straighten out her affairs. I have been trying to contact WORLDCOM since October to see how long her contract runs, but keep getting recordings to call back later.
I have tried email also. Now, she just received another threatening letter saying she was "in arrears" again - though she just paid a bill one month ago.
Can you help me end her contract? This is very upsetting to an elderly person who has never been late paying a bill in her life. Thanks for your help. Kris
