I turned on my tracfone and was told my SIM was unregistered. Therefore I have no service. I contacted their customer service which is located in the Phillipines. After 3 frustrating hours with their so called customer service, I learned that they gave away my phone number and transfered my 839 minutes to someone else. They argued with me. Wanting to know if I had a receipt for my purchase which was several years ago. Then they insisted that I had purchased a new phone and had the minutes transfered. I had to repeated the cell phone number time after time as well as the IMEI and Sim number. The last supervisor I spoke with (about 5 others could not be understood as they spoke broken English) decided that I had a damaged SIM card as the result of the transfering of my number & minutes. They will send me a new SIM card.in the meantime I do not have a working cell phone and lost 3 hours which was needed for other things. So they stole my phone number and stole my 839 minutes whick I paid for. I would like to know who got the number and my minutes. Is this a criminal act?
