Phone Issues Remain Unsolved - Droid X

As a Verizon customer for nearly 4 years, I have typically been satisfied with thier wireless service. Thank you RF Engineers.

Now the real problem.

I have a Droid X. Purchased it back in September when it first debuted as the next best thing next to the Iphone. After owning the phone for about 4 months, it started to have issues: Battery life nearly non-existant, The screen would freeze from time to time and it would just drop phone calls or service out of the blue. Verizon technical support sent out a REFURBISHED LIKE NEW device to me as a replacement. The like new device was not functioning correctly; The batter life lasted for about 5 hours after being charged to the wall for the entire night (9pm to 7am).

I called verizon wireless tech support they tried to sale me an extended battery for $50 but ended up shipping it out for free after "talking with his manager."

Extended battery did not maintain a longer or stronger batter life.

Spoke to Verizon tech support again; This time they had me change the Droid X to safe mode in an effort to figure out which application, if there was one, that was eating up the battery. *please note that I have a task killer and had one from the beginning of my droid x that i constantly used to help kill applications I didnt want running.

The battery life was not affected by the switch was and was still dead after 5 hours the next day.

I called Verizon again. They said ok; we will send out a new device. I received the REFURBISHED phone and activated it. A couple hours after having it I noticed it was turning off and then back on; off then on. Off. On. Off. On. It wouldn't stop this pattern and continues to do it still.

I just got off the phone with Verizon. I suggested that they send me an adequate phone like the Iphone they just got. They immediately turned down that option and told me they can't do it because of their "contracts" with Apple.

They will be sending me another refurbished Droid X. If it doesn't work then I will consider other options for my wireless provider.

I don't feel like a valued customer.
