My experience with getting a lawn mower repaired has been dreadful. After the second taime of taking the lawnmower to the local mall, I found they only pick up lawnmowers in need of repair once a week and return once a week. The lawnmower is sent to another state for repair. The lawnmower was leaking gas. The repair service said I was overfilling the gas tank. The gas was leaking out after the lawn had been mowed—not when filling the gas tank. After the third attempt to get it repaired correctly, new parts were put on. Voila the lawnmower worked. However, mowed the lawn and had to turn off the mower because company arrived. Went to restart the lawnmower and would not start. Tried the electric start and it still would not start. Plugged in the lawnmower to charge overnight and charged it for 20 hours and it still would not start with the key. What the heck—don't they have a checklist to make sure items on running probably before being returned. Do they ever run a test to make sure its been fixed. I will never ever buy another product from Sears with such lousy and unacceptable service. I was without a lawnmower for over nine weeks because of the shipping and return policy.
