T-mobile customer relations, lied about service< return policy and customer service location

Hello,

I have the same problem as other people in fact 24,872 people have compained to the BBB. I was
lied to by the online rep and contacted the BBB a week ago.

I got a call from t-mobile executive office today about my complaint THEY TOLD ME THERE WA NOTHING THEY COULD DO OR WOULD DO AND I AM STUCK WITH THE SERVICE AND THE 24 MONTH CONTRACT and contract only 35 day after signing up for new service. I check the BBB website and there are24,872 Complaints on file with the BBB about T-Mobile and the connection dropped calls, no-service etc.

Tell everyone you know that has had a problem to send a letter to the BBB, FTC, The Rip of Report and Consumer Reports.

Below is the letter I sent to all the agency's FEEL FREE TO COPY IT, EDIT IT FOR YOUR NEEDS AND FORWARD TO AGENCY'S. If you cannot copy send me a e-mail request at "[email protected]" I will be happy to send it to you in a word format!

I spoke to an on-line customer service rep in early January for new service and phone. I asked the following questions below is the sales reps response

1) Coverage in my area zip code online coverage map showed my area as moderate.

A) The sales rep told me excellent coverage and that the online map was infrequently updated.

2) I asked the rep if I could return the phone if I not satisfied.

A) I was told I had 30 days to return & cancel w/o any charge.

3) I asked if customer service is directed to a foreign outsource location. I do no like to not be able to understand the people when their accent is a very thick Indian / Pakistani accent.

A) I was told rep told me that everything was in the USA.

B) I decided to go ahead. The reps help me pick the service and phone that would best fit my current needs. I gave my CC to complete the transaction.

I received the phone approx. 12 days later.

A) My started billing me the day it shipped causing me to be bill for 12 days that I did not have the phone.

I was not getting the service promised & wanted to return phone & cancel service.

A) After being transferred to at least 3 different departments I was connected to tech service.

B) They tried a few things & decided there was a problem with the cell tower I got a ticket number & was told someone would get back to me. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE AT T-MOBILE!!!

I waited 2 weeks with no improvement on my service I called customer service. I was just going to return the phone and cancel service.

A) I said I just want to return the phone & cancel service I was placed on hold.

B) She came back to me and informed me that because of the service the sales rep suggested to me all customer service for this plan goes to a special department. I WAS NEVER TOLD THIS BY THE SALES REP!

This is where my service became nothing like i was promised

The person that answered the phone had such an Indian accent could not understand her.
A) I asked to speak to a supervisor she would not connect me and hung-up.

I called back & got a supervisor. I told him I want to return the phone and cancel my service
A) I was told because of the plan I had chosen there was only 15 days to return. He told me sorry but they go from the day phone ships.

Now I am stuck with a two year contract, terrible service and a customer service department I cannot understand. All the information I was given was a LIE!
