Tied-up Phone Plan

So I bought an LG phone at Safe National of America, it was technically tied to a plan. Later on, we have realized that the plan wouldn't do us much good because it had high price demands, by the end of the month I shall be paying more than I would have if I were to opt for prepaid. So when we phoned safe asking them of their termination guidelines, they had informed us that we shall be paying an amount equivalent to two months usage because that is inculcated in the policy. As much as I can remember, it was never mentioned. We tackled issues about termination before we got the plan alright and the only thing they mentioned was that we submit the phone back granting there's a receipt we can present. I cannot remember anything that's said about paying that certain amount. That's really frustrating. They should not hide anything from their customers just to get them to buy their product. So we end up just staying with the plan for the year, it would have to be a waste paying such amount that we cannot benefit from. I was so disappointed about Safe National of America, that's the least store I would buy gadgets from, this day forward.
