I purchased LG bluetooth headset at Frys Electronics store and mailed rebate form of $20for myself and another form of $20 rebate for my wife on or about Dec 1fortwo LG HBM-235 bluetooth headsets. Now it's 7 Jan and I haven't received any confirmation email from them yet. I just call 901-348-9667 and they said they have no record of ever receiving my rebate form? Waht the heck?
The rebate form states that it takes 60 days for processing but they should receive it by now after more than a month, Actually it's 40 days after I mailed rebate form. I mailed Norton rebate form of $50 and they processed and send me a prepaid card within 30 days, and they sent an email to confirm a receipt of my reabate mail right on 7 Jan. The LG should at least inform consumer the status of the rebate processing instead keeping consumer in dark. A guy who answered phone told me it takes 60 days for entering data into database and another 4 wekks to send out a rebate. What such a ripoff. Why it take so long and they never communicate with customer for status of rebate? I plan to buy a LED flatt TV and will stay away from LG and advise my friend about LG customer treatment?
Wait for another 20 days for the rebate which probably never comes in
