DO NOT work with this company! Simon Blackburn who runs Switchfire Limited scams people for a living by sending out grossly overpriced adult text messaging subscription services and calls this a "business". Additionally he does not pay his employees!
I was employed to help with the online marketing with Switchfire, however, Switchfire tried to illegally withhold two months salary including holiday pay from me when I handed in my notice.
I processed an employment tribunal though ACAS to take Switchfire and Simon Blackburn to court over their illegal action of withholding salary.
Fortunately Simon Blackburn and Switchfire Limited backed down the day before the court hearing and eventually paid up for the money I was legally entitled to.
For Simon Blackburn and Switchfire Limited to withdraw the day before the hearing shows the company is drastically un-organised, originally Simon Blackburn tried to settle with me by offering less than 1/2 money legally owed!
Unfortunately as I'd gone down the employment tribunal route I was unable to claim for personal damages on my part against Simon Blackburn and Switchfire Limited.
