I was driving along the road coming back from class, when three guys in a silver expedition told me to roll down my window. They told me they had a deal on speakers. Know about car audio i thouight I would take a look, not know it was home audio.
So we pull over, the guy pretends to be in a rush and says he has to unload 4 Audiofile 583LR home audio speakers. He preceeds to tell me that they had givng him 4 pairs of speakers instead of 4 indivdual speakers and didn't want to bring them back to the boss, because he could sell them without the boss knowing.
He showed me a book that said the retail on them was $1500.00, I over him $80.00 and he laughed. He tells me that the lowest is $600 for one speaker was the lowest. I'm sitting there thinking well if I buy it for $150 for one I can go ahead and sell it on ebay for more.
They were very pushy, but when i told them i didn't want them for more then 150 and would walk away, they gladly gave in. Thinking i got the deal, I went home and looked on the internet and found out that this was a Scam.
Their was 3 of them, all young guys about 25 years of age driving a Silver Ford Expedition with Florida License plate. They told me that they worked for a large audio company in Orlando and were making a delivery to Daytona. They were very pushy and actually got into my car to go to the ATM.
So now what to do. I hope that i see them driving around town and get them to pull over, preceding to get my money back. And i hope no one else gets scammed like i did... Oh is if someone sees them around let me know, because i want to make sure all three of them get the sh#t kicked out of them.
