I sent my 40 year old am/fm stereo tuner in for major repairs, after holding it for a year, and over $1,300, they finally sent it back to me. It worked, but, not to my satisfaction... And after a few hours, it started to develop loud static, so, I sent it back... They told me, because it was so old, they could not get a needed part, and kept it another 6 months... And charged me for the time to find a part, which they were unable to do... I suggested finding one on e bay, and getting the part it needed, but they were unable to do that as well... I finally said: send it back, and I am not wasting any more $... Here is the end of story... Short and sweet... I found a tuner on e bay for $175, which worked excellent... The person that sold it to me, told me to send back my original staticy radio, and he was certain he could fix it... Which he did... It did not need any part... All it needed was a couple of resistors, capacitor, and alignment... I have had it running for the last 9 months, and sounds awesome... I will never do business with Scott's Tv in the future
