I first went to Campus Computers as a college student at the University of Alabama. I don't remember how the store was referred to me, but it was near campus and I had heard it was cheap. I brought my desktop in and Ron Snell fixed it in about a week. Done. End of story.
I had another problem a few years later with my TOSHIBA laptop this time, and I knew I was going to be in Tuscaloosa, so I wanted to go back to Ron because I figured he would fix it in a timely fashion and the service would be affordable. So when I got to Tuscaloosa, I brought in my laptop so that he could fix my disk drive. He told me that it may be hard to fix so he said the better thing to do would be to trade in my TOSHIBA for an HP that he was re-building/fixing. He would transfer all of my information on my hard drive to the new laptop, install newer windows, etc. My friend who was with me knows a lot about computers and she said that the HP looked good and we all agreed that this would be our best bet! So he took my mailing info, I gave him the money, everything seemed like it was going to be quick and painless once again.
