Warranty Period Error - mistake in coverage period. Delay in processing claim and repai

I purchased 5 year parts/labor warranty for Sony 60" DLP television including replacement Lamp protection. Warranty purchased on 5-17. Contacted Warrantech on 4-26 to report need for Lamp replacement. Rep informed me that original contract info was entered incorrectly and represented a 3 year plan. I retained receipts showing purchase of 5-year plan and rep promptly updated the system to reflect the correct info. However, rep then informed me he could not open or submit a claim until the new contract info had been approved - a process which would require about 5 business days.
Once approved, a claim could be submitted with the replacement Lamp taking an average of 4-5 days to ship. End result, I would need to wait up to two weeks, assuming no further delays. No guarantee that it would take additional time to schedule service tech. Since the Lamp burned out prior to the expiration of the 3-year period, I requested the claim be submitted and Lamp shipped, simultaneous with the updated of my contract. I was told this was not possible and I had no recourse but to wait it out. Given that I purchased a premium service plan at cost of nearly $400.00, this is an unacceptable response.
