In August my printer broke. I've ordered elecronics for years from Outpost.com and returned a few things under their 30 day refund policy. On August 25 I ordered a Hewlitt-Packard (HP) printer.By the time it arrived, I had managed to fix my printer.
I called Outpost.com for a return authorization so I could return the HP printer (which was still in its box). The customer service representative said HP printers are non-returnable. This was news to me. It seems this policy was buried on a different page at their site.
If they'd disclosed that policy on the page from which I ordered the printer, I would never have bought it. I fretail stores have to post their refund policies in plain sight, why not interent sites?
What a ripoff!!
