We placed an order for just over $600 worth of LED lighting for one of our emergency vehicles for the Fire Dept. Placed the order and paid by credit card at the time of the order. UBL advised order would ship by that Friday (Nov. 13) and we paid for 2 day USPS priority mail. The items should have been here by Nov. 17th. Items were not received and we called and could not reach them. Finally got an email on Nov. 23rd stating that some items had shipped. Items were now expected to arrive by Nov. 25th. Due to the Thanksgiving weekend we figured items would not arrive until the following Monday. We gave UBL the benefit of the doubt and waited until Monday Nov. 30th. Still no lights. We called yet again and left message (they never answer the phone) and questioned where the lights were. The partial order arrived on Dec. 2nd. We installed the lights on a command vehicle and when we hooked up the last light it shorted out the system and burned up the controller. The light was defective and failed to work properly and also shorted out the control unit. We called UBL again and left a message. They actually called us back. Explained to them what the problem was and they apologized. They informed us that they did not have a replacement light nor did they have one of the backordered items. They offered to send us two different lights as well as a different one for the backordered item and also ship the remaining backordered item. They told us the items were in stock (not the original ones we ordered) and that they would ship Friday Dec. 4th. We received an email Monday Dec. 7th stating that the order did not go out on Friday and that it would go out that day. The order was to be shipped USPS Priority Overnight. We did not receive the order on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Thursday I emailed and called UBL and left a message complaining and requested that someone contact us. We received an email from UBL that afternoon with nothing more than an alledged USPS tracking number and a "thanks" at the bottom of the email. The tracking number was not valid on the USPS website! We emailed them yet again and informed them of this and insisted that someone make telephone contact with us. As of today Dec. 11 we still have yet to have any contact with someone from UBL or receive or order which was paid for in full on November 10th.
Failure to ship items when stated.
Failure to ship complete order.
Shipped defective items.
Failure to ship backordered items as well as defective replacement items.
Failure to contact us with any valid tracking info.
Failure to respond to numerous requests for contact by a representative.
30 days from date of order and still haven't received what we paid for!
If they will treat a government entity this way imagine how they will treat you!
