Weak blender blades

I am on my NEXT cuisinart SPB-456-2 edge. It is for that wise energy 7-speed mixer. The mixer itself has demonstrated to be fairly difficult after 5 years of utilizing it 3~5 occasions per week but their knives just cannot tolerate freezing products.

The bottom of the edge that holds the spinning rubber "teeth" which are about the primary drive-shaft consists of plastic and threaded onto the primary rotating base of the edge construction. Evidently this plastic bottom screws onto the base of course if anything within the mixer attracts one's teeth perfect, it's going to remove the plastic foot of the edge construction making it ineffective. The bottom of the edge construction may spin easily.

At $25 each (delivery expenses around the edge) this isn't a cheap repair. I have got JB weld treating on my newest stripped edge so we will notice if that fixes it however the fifth and ultimate alternative edge is on the road along with a fresh Oster blender (with all-metal knife assembly and coupling building) is likely to be under my Christmas - tree in a couple weeks. The cuisinart may hang in there due to the fact the food processor still operates and also the mixer itself is likely to be employed for copy if required.

Lesson learned. Should you create iced beverages with freezing apples or freezing bananas, look elsewhere.
