A friend purchased a $248 dollar Samsung TL220 Camera for my birthday. She opened the box in my bedroom to take a picture of me and the camera did not work.
My first thought was "Well, maybe it's not charged."
When i took the camera from her I noticed a couple of scrapes and scrathces on the corners (meaning it had been dropped on a hard/rough surface.)
Remaining civil i returned to FRY'S the following afternoon and was given the "Policy Run-around" and told i would have to take it up with the manufacturer. They're whole reasoning for why they were not responsible rested in the Box the Camera came in being new.
The so-called "Manager" even went as far as to say that "Samsung probably wouldn't help me neither."
FRY'S Electronics ruined my birthday.
