After posting my resume on Job Planet I received an email instructing me to contact a Ms. Anna Lindsay about an opportunity to work from home. I had never actually done something like this, but the chance to be home with my daughter was too good to pass so I played along. Then "she" instructed me to contact a vendor at [email protected] named Susan Keast to obtain a Dell XPS laptop, a HP 3055 Monochrome Laser Jet Flatbed All-in-One Printer, and an AVG Sony router Satalite. Notice the spelling errors.in all my communications with Ms Lindsay there were numerous spelling and grammatical errors, as well as errors in the instructions fo rthe tasks she would assign each day. This is what caught me at first. Then came the fact that no matter how much I botched the assignments they were always fine.
Thi scompany is a scam. I called the Better Business Bureau and confirmed that there were scams after going to my bank with the intention of depositing the check, having a five day hold to make sure it cleared before proceeding. After calling teh BBB I immediately called the bank and requested they cancel the check on the grounds that they're suspicions were correct and the check was a fraud. I am waiting to hear back and would recommend that for any online poteential job you communicate via phone and have every ounce of detail you possibly can before consentign to anything. When all else fails call the BBB. But don't get caught in this. It had the potential of costing me $2379.00 not to mention overdrafts and such.
