Lexcom Systems sends forged checks, then tells you to cash them and send the money to different people throughout the country

Lexcom Systems Inc. — Anna Lindsay, Cheif Executive Officer, deaf and cannot take phone calls.

I am unemployed, and have my resume posted on several job search websites. Anna Lindsay contacted my at an e-mail address, that I only use for job search, and offered me a job as a Data Administrative clerk / Account Clerk. She gave me instructions on how to IM her and I followed them, which gave her my yahoo e-mail address. After that I filled out an employee questionnaire. Wow, I was hired and the great thing about it was that I was going to be given nice equipment, a Dell Laptop, a laser all-in-one printer/scanner and a satellite connection. I was also told that training materials would be sent to my home, which I have not received yet.

The above is the e-mail that I received.

For four days I was doing assigned tasks for Anna Lindsay, then on the 5th day I received an IM that a check was being sent to me via FedEx, the check was for $2180. I asked her why I was being sent a check and she told me it was for equipment. I was asked to forward, per money gram $2000 to Kelly Salazar in Aurora, CO 80010 and send a copy of the transaction to Lindsay and to [email protected]. Before I sent the money I called the bank, BofA, to verify if the account was a legitimate account and BofA told me that it was so I cashed the check and sent the money per instructions. I continued doing tasks and then two days later I received another check for $3520, with instructions to forward $3000 to the same person. Before I cashed the check I took it to a BofA bank and asked if the check was real and if the funds were available in the account. Bank of America assured me that the check was real, that the account was real, and that there were enough funds in the account to cover the check. Since I do not have an account at BofA, they would not cash it for me because the amount was too large. So I took it to my bank and cashed it there and followed the instructions that I was given. These days were Wednesday and Friday, respectively. Then on Monday, I received another check for $4780, which my bank wanted to hold for three days before cashing. I am glad that they did.

On Monday afternoon I went to the bank to cash a check that I had been expecting for about 2 weeks and I receive the terrible news that the check for $2180 was a forgery. Yesterday, Tuesday, I was informed that the check for $3520 was also a forgery. Remember that this was the check that I took to Bank of America to confirm before cashing; remember that BofA told me that the check was not a forgery, that it was good.

The BofA account holder for the two checks is Courtney M. Pavelak, 917 Tierra Ln, Palm Springs, CA 92262, this is the same person who sent me the checks via FedEx. The checks looked real, even BofA said that they were real, but my bank is telling me that they are not, that they are forgeries. I am expecting my bank to tell me that the third one is also a forgery.

The first two checks I made copies of, and I have copies of all the moneygram transactions. I have saved most of the e-mails that Lindsay sent me, and several of the IM conversations.

I sent Lindsay an IM telling her that I did not want to waste any more time with her, and she is still IMing me, still sending me tasks to complete—big waste of my time.

I would avoid Lexcom Systems Inc., I googled the company but today for some reason I cannot find any contact info except for e-mail address. Yesterday I found corporate addresses for Houston, Dallas, Austin and some in CA. Today I only found addresses for England and e-mail addresses for support.

Before I started trusting Lindsay I did a check for scams that she was involved in; got nothing and then I searched for Lexcom Systems Inc., found websites, physical addresses and now today I am starting to find less and less.

There are people out there who are searching the job seekers data bases looking for victims.in the past, prospective employers have contacted me for employment interviews, in the area where I live, because either I have applied at that company or they had viewed my resume online. After what just happened to me, I have tried to remove my resumes from all of the job seekers services.

People have called me at my home phone number that I do not give out on the Internet except in resumes offering me Home Employment Opportunities, other people have sent me e-mails to an e-mail address that is listed only on my resume. I do not give it out for anything else.

The job seeker sites where I had my resume posted are: Indeed, Job Planet, Job Fox, Monster, Craigs List, Lab Corp, Job Com.

I am really afraid to do anything on the Internet after what just happened and is still happening.

This employment search is really starting to turn into a nightmare.
