Do not shop at Discovery Camera! Don't let Discovery Camera's low prices suck you into ordering from them; it's not worth it. I had my worst mail order experience buying a Nikon lense from this company.in addition, I allowed the sales rep talk me into ordering a filter set, which I originally didn't want to order but... I relented. I placed my order on June 3rd after which I called several times to get an order status and a UPS tracking number. I was rudely treated each time and was told to call the next day or provide an email address to which they would email the tracking number. I was never provided the tracking number on subsequent calls. I received my shipment on June 14th after paying for UPS 2nd day air. UPS called me to tell me that they had a parcel for me because the mailing address was not on the shipping label. @#*&$%! On June 16th I received the UPS tracking number by email after the shipment was received. That makes a lot of sense huh??? It didn't end there.

My shipment from Discovery Camera contained the wrong lense worth half the price and also a wrong filter in the three filter set. Remember, I didn't want the filter set to begin with. I immediately called Discovery Camera to inform them of their mistake. After being passed around by several people at the company I ended up speaking to the Manager of their shipping department who asked me to identify what I had ordered while he put me on hold a half dozen times and then ask me to repeat my order each time. What's with that? Don't they have a record of my order? After finally answering his questions and clarifying what I ordered he instructed me to return the incorrect items and to include an explanation in writing. He was going to send out the correct items right away.

I shipped the incorrect items back on June 15th thru UPS 2nd Day Air (insured) at my cost. I, of course, asked for reimbursement but never got it. I tracked the return shipment. Discovery Camera received it on June 19th. I was expecting to have the correct items any day now; wrong again. I began my calls again to followup on the status of my order. I called the Manager of the shipping department and the sales rep several times who each gave me a different status on my order. One said it was shipped while another told me that it wasn't. The last call placed to the sales rep produced a UPS tracking number which I tracked and received shipment for today, July 6th, over one month from the date that I originally placed my order. Believe it or not, it's still not the end. The correct lense was sent but the lense hood is cracked. The correct filter was sent but the filter is scratched making it useless. How much worse can it get; two items received, two items wrong. That's a 100% failure. I'm not convinced that its worth shipping these two items back to have them replaced. I don't' feel that they have any intention of satisfying me and I could end up just wasting my time and money on shipping charges. I will accept my loss but will never order another item from Discovery Camera and will share this experience with every photographer I know.

DO NOT ORDER FROM DISCOVERY CAMERA. I'm convinced that Discovery Camera is out to rip off anyone that orders from them; they have not done one thing right. Their service and personnel are the worst. Their phone system is designed to frustrate any customer calling them and their computer system cannot or is intentionally not used to service customer orders.
