Best Price Match: Scam Completely scam to avoid giving proper credits

I had recently (today) placed an order over the phone with a guitar center employee while trying to do the best price match gurantee that they offer on their website. If you are not familiar with it this is the main guidlines as quoted from their site:

30 Day Lowest Price Guarantee

Our goal is your total satisfaction.

You're guaranteed the lowest price from Guitar Center. Period. If at any time within 30 days of your purchase from us, you find the identical item in stock and advertised by an authorized dealer at a price lower than what you paid, Guitar Center will fully protect you. Just bring in the ad, even if it's our own, along with your original Guitar Center receipt, and we'll gladly refund you 100% of the difference, plus another 10% of that difference. We will also do the same for you at the time of purchase. For Internet requests, please contact us at online support or call 1-866-498-7882.

I had placed an order for a:
Dean Michael Schenker Performer Acoustic-Electric Guitar (#512176) and a Wedgie Rubber Guitar Pick (5MM Medium) (#110003426118)

The Dean guitar I had found for $299.99 on Amazon.com so I decided I would call the center and have them match the price.

After getting on the phone and talikng to one of the reps he then placed me on MUTE not Hold but MUTE! For 13 minutes! He finally got back on after "speaking with his supervisor" and said that he would sell me the guitar for $309.00. I was shocked the guitar according to their best price match should have been $270.00. I told him I was in no mood to argue about it and I will take care of the remaining credit later with a supervisor. I then asked about shipping which he quoted me was $75.00 for next day air! It should have only been $26.77 according to the website: http://www.guitarcenter.com/MyAccount/CheckShipping. Aspx

Put in Zipcode 84095

I may not be the best at math but:
10% of $299.99 is $29.99 plus the extra $10.00 I paid would bring it to a total of $39.99. That is only the first of my problem. The second part is that I had come online after placing the order and found out that if I were to have placed it it would have only cost me $26.77 for next day shipping when the agent quoted me it was $75.00 for next day shipping! Thats an extra $25.93 that I could have saved! This means I should have saved $65.92 when instead I was charged it.

I am currently in the process of working this out with a supervisor to get everything corrected. Still waiting on a call back. The only reason I paid for this guitar is because I have a gig this weekend, I figured I would settle this issue after placing the order. But please do BEWARE of this scam they call Best Price Match. They do not abide by it what so ever.
