My girlfriend purchased a monitor from the EBAY store California Gold as a gift and when it came in I tried to hook it up for the person that she bought it for and was given a message that the drivers could not be downloaded from the disc that was included. I tried to also install the monitor on several other computers with no luck, it kept saying not compatible. The description on their website says you must make sure it is compatible before buying, but they do not bother to list exactly what it is compatible with. If they do not know what it is compatible with, how could anyone else possibly know? After contacting them for a refund and all she got was rude and attacking responses. They even threatened to report her to EBAY for simply wanting to return a defective product.
After reading other negative responses from others about their store, I could see what what we were dealing with.in every case where a customer expressed a negative experience, they never tried to resolve the problem, but instead tried to make it look like it was the customers fault and even responded with more negative and insulting comments.
These people are the most unproffessional and rude people I have ever encountered in a business setting and should not be dealing with the public. Stay away from this business at all cost!
