I purchased a Mits. 52 in tv from Compusa with a warranty on 7/15/07 I was a floor model and the sales clerk as well as the manager informed me to purchase the warranty an extra $200 b/c it was a floor model and they had no way of knowing how long the tv had been on. So I paid over $2000 and charged it. The final bill coming up on the 22nd of this month and yesterday the bulb blew. Today I called and they said that they are not honoring the free bulb replacement unless it clearly stated on the receipt that it is covering a bulb replacement. I have the book that stipulates what the warranty is to includes and it says on free bulb replacement. They won't budge. I had my operator speak with her supervisor and no luck they say it must clearly state on the receipt. I am furious!!! I also went to Compusa and they are longer Compusa (confusing) so they can't help either. They said I have to take it up with TAP and they aren't budging. What can I do?

I now have a couple thousand dollar payment and a tv that doesn't work and a warranty that is a joke. I have purchased every piece of electronics for the last 5 yrs. Or more from them, but they have lost a customer here for sure. I have also notified the BBB as well as our consumer lawyer from our local news channel.
