I have been paying for an extended warranty on a refrigerator for 13 years. My icemaker is no longer operational and they no longer make the replacement part. After 2 months, they finally agreed to pay 70% of a new refrigerator. I bought a comparable unit, sent them all of my paperwork and continue to get a royal runaround! Service? I don't think so. I have never been treated so poorly and will be amazed if they ever send me a check.
Save your money - and don't deal with Electrolux!
