I was shopping online for a digital camera. Broadway photo came up with a great price and as a preferred seller and noting IN STOCK. I placed my order, and I received an email that my order was processed and will be shipped within 3 day. 2 day latter I got an email please contact us in order to process your order. I called and got connected to a sales person trying to convince me to buy a battery for $75 because the camera comes with a battery that works for 20 minutes only, and a SD card for $50 or $60 because the camera comes with no SD card. I refused to buy there stuff. A few hours later I got an email sorry the camera you ordered is out of stock. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I understand that things could happen, but this is not the first time it happened with the same company. And I am not the only one it happened to. They are listing everything IN STOCK for vary cheap prices, then try to push you to buy other products from them for very expensive, and if you refuse than the product you ordered suddenly becomes OUT OF STOCK and they are sorry for the inconvenience.
I would really appreciate if real action will be taken against all the FROAD companies. I wish somebody should put an end to this, once and for all.
