I named Verizon tech-support after being disconnected in the centre of working at home for that umpteenth time. I had been not reconnecting using the typical methods (restart device, restart, etc). Tech-support was excellent in the beginning but endured in wondering concerning the device equipment and declining to provide tech-support once the equipment wasn't Westell. I told tech-support that device configurations are regular (for example PPPoE and VPI/VCI of 0 / 35) across manufacturers, and tech-support shouldn't be confused by various manufacturers. Tech-support did make sure point was OK.; didn't discuss why spending clients get kicked-off periods frequently (excess?); and was not able to provide any more assistance.

I'm wondering when there is a-class action suit against Verizon for instruction tech-support on just their modems. Is not that the touch monopolistic? Or can there be a legitimate loophole which allows Verizon to obtain away with this particular?
