One thing i have learned in my time with this company is that the only people that seem to be brainwashed are the customers. I have worked in numerous retail jobs, but never before have i worked someplace where people seem so desperate... And actually believe that i'm gonna fall for what they say. 99% of the time i am a nice guy. Easy to get along with. But the people i deal with... The ones that don't know how to answer phones... The ones that don't know how to make a god-forsaken payment on time... These are the brainwashed. I mean, come on... You go to the grocery store... Buy 300 dollars worth of groceries... Then tell the 17 year old cashier you can only pay for half and want to wait til next week to pay for the rest, and STILL expect to keep the food... She's gonna laugh at you as your ass is being dragged off by the police. I know all about hardships... I'm going thru stuff right now that would make your head spin. But i pay my bills. Is it that hard to make a 20 dollar a week washer payment? Well then for god's sake... Don't rent. Go to odd lots and buy a big tub and stomp on your clothes to get them clean.
At first i didn't like my situation. I was not happy, and you can see it in a previous post. But, this job has treated me well. And i enjoy what i do. Do i feel guilty? Ask my fiance. She will tell you no. This job pays our bills... And is allowing me to take my first real vacation in 12 years. Not too many people can say that... Especially the customers of RAC that post on here. I'm sorry people... But take the time to read your rental agreement... Or like i said, don't rent. Save. Save save save. Like someone said on a post that i read... I not only work for the rent to own business i at one time rented. And you know what? I had a crappy job. But i paid on my P.O.S. Tv every week like i was supposed to and i even returned it when i lost my job. I even called the company and asked them to come get it the moment i found out i was getting laid off... How many of you can say that???
