My RCA wireless speakers quit working after 7 months. I could tell it was the power to the transmitter, because the indicator light would flash for a second when it was plugged in, but would not stay lit, or transmit the signal. Either the power to the transmitter, or the transmitter itself. Nothing was wrong with the speakers. I wrote the company about the problem, sent the transmitter with the cord, reciept of purchase, copy of warranty to Product Exchange Center Sorocco Texas. It was mailed back to me because they did not recieve the entire product... I needed to send the speakers as well, eventhough they were not the problem.
So I found a box big enough, wrapped them in bubble wrap and sent the entire system back to Texas. About 3 weeks later I received a box containing what looked like a brand new set of my speakers, in an original new box, each item tightly packed, wires wrapped, instructions—just like new; right off the shelf! But when I tried to use the speakers, the exact same problem occurred. The indicator light would flash, would not stay on, and I could not get power to the transmitter. I believe they re-packaged my speakers in a new box and sent them back to me without repairing anything.
When I called them, they said that they would send me a mailing label so that I wouldn't have to pay again to resend the speakers back to Texas to be fixed. I did not receive anything after 6 weeks. I called again. They told me they would send the mailing label. It has been 12 weeks and I have not received anything. I will not purchase anything from RCA ever again, And I would not send anything to that Product Exchange Center.
