Metro PCS - Dallas, TX
Supervisor "Cathrine" @ "customer Service" Business Model aids and abets fraud criminals - company refused to provide information on fraudulent account activity

I found fraudulent charges to my credit card by Metro PCS, Dallas, TX. Called Metro and they would not provide information "as they didn't have any way to access the records" since I don't have an account number. Referred to Matrix Billing, PCS's "third party biller". Called Matrix and they "didn't have account information" related to the charge. He looked up the charges using my credit card number and confirmed that they did bill my card but "could not tell me where the payments or to what account they were posted as he had no account information". He offered to reverse the charges as if that would solve the issue and was not willing to discuss the criminal act that allowed them to bill my credit card.

How would Matrix link/post a payment to a cell phone account if it did not have the account number?

Metro PCS business model is structured to facilitate, aid and abet fraudulent transactions and to avoid any responsibility in the matter by playing a shell game using their so called "third party biller" Both Metro PCS and Matrix Billing are culpable in this crime of identity theft and the states attorney general should prohibit Metro PCS and Matrix from conducting business in every state until they agree to help in resolving the identity theft problems they allowed their "account holders" to create. They hide behind the "privacy" issues as if that takes precedent over the "criminal" issues.

The next "solution" I was offered was to file an identity theft report "with my local police" department. I did that but was informed by the officer that identity theft was a low priority issue and it may take several months, if ever to investigate the crime. I was also told by the officer that Metro PCS and Matrix refuse to provide any information to law enforcement.

I asked for their legal department and the "supervisor", Catherine, (refused to give me an employee number or a phone number where I can contact her) and said they didn't have a legal department. She did offer the mailing address of the corporate headquarters and told me "I could write them about the issue". She said they did not have a phone number at corporate.

Makes a lot of sense, a phone company without a phone number.

Metro PCS and Matrix billing are crooks hiding behind their corporate veil. We need a class action suit against them forcing them to pay damages for their fraudulent and deliberate deceptive business practices. This is not over..
