I recently purchased a Sony HDR SR-11 from an "EnterprisePhoto.com" and after a day or two a sales rep called me at work too let me know that The camcorder does not come with a charger, Odd yes but being 18 years old and unaware of how crooked a place the internet can be to shop I agreed to buy a charger for an additional $159.99. The sales rep also let me know (Very politely) that the tri-pod I had ordered was very flimsy and that he could sell me a better one for the same price! Okay you know that sounds pretty cool I had ordered a $100 dollar tri-pod and didn't want a flimsy one.
He changed my order a little bit, decreasing my battery size removing and changing a few items, using very skilled twisting of words making it sound like I was getting a better deal! Well here I am at work just trying to get off the phone with this guy so I asked if he could send me a summary of what all he wanted to change and he persuaded me to just go over it "Really quick" with him.
Well I agreed to a price he gave me after being on the phone for quite some time and asked again for a summary of what he changed. He said he would email me one and that the package would ship out that eve.
Sure enough, the package shipped... No summary... Next day, no summary.
I decided to wait for my package.
Well I got the package and first off I realized that I didn't receive the extra batt. Also the charger was in the package with the camera! Huh that's fishy they said right on the site that the packages were not opened from the factory seal... How did they get my charger in there? Well It does come with a charger from the factory so where is this extra charger I bought? The tri-pod that they told me was better was a cheap $25 tri-pod but, I paid $100 for it!
They tagged on this huge insurance fee that I was never told about and I wound up paying over a $150 more and received fewer items! When I called I was hung up on several times and sat on hold for several mins. I finally got to speak with... You guessed it Chris! Ext 244! Who got very rude and tried to tell me that they gave me some high def high resolution 37mm pro lens's for it... Hmm gee they are exactly the same as the cheaper ones I had bought but no!!! They have micro layered pixels inside the lens itself and the ones I had purchased wouldn't have worked! He said they would only film a blank image... Ha yeah I'm not stupid Chris!
Do not buy from them! They are pro scammers and know what they are doing! I just talked to my bank telling them what happened and they told me I had about a 90% chance of getting my money back so tomorrow I will begin my fight against this crooked New York Business!
