On April 17 Projector Lamp Center processed my online order for a replacement lamp for a sony TV. I placed the order almost a week prior and it took that long for them to process it. Once a lamp/bulb on a Sony wega goes the picture is gone. If I was in any hurry to watch my tv I would have been waiting OVER 2 MONTHS!!! Sage Ryder processed my credit card on April 17th. One month later no bulb has arrived. I send a email. They say "Sorry we are having trouble with this vendor." "It should be out very soon." Another month goes by, no bulb. I send another email saying "Refund my money." I get the response "your order was shipped two days ago." They also inform me they have had problems with "this" vendor. Who is "this" vendor. I purchased my blulb from them. They are responsible. I received a tracking number and UPS tells me I will receive my bulb tomorrow. Why did they not send me a email confirming shippment. What kind of business are they running? No "sorry for the delay, here is your ups tracking number and a generous discount." No I have to track them down... I shall see if this package ever arrives. I shall also see if this bulb works. This is a tiny bulb that costs $175.00 plus a $2.99 handling fee. Of course they wanted to sell me bulb insurance for around $50.00. I did not buy the insurance which probably means my bulb will be broken. What have I learned.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Rip off!!! This is a terrible compnay that sets terrible standards.
