Tiger doesn't care about rebates or people

Are you still using Tiger Direct for on-line shopping?
I knew them, when they were Tiger Software, ages ago.
They aren't there for you, any longer.

They charge your account, but don't send the products.
It takes several phone calls to get a credit back.
They have out dated rebates at best.

A few times they have charged my card for items they no longer stock, & I have to call them directly to get the charge back. If the item is out of stock, I'd think they would not charge in the first place.
They've sent the wrong item, & I've had to pay for return postage. Which I think is nuts. I didn't send the wrong money to them.

It is sad to see any company go sour. It especially hurts when it's one you've done business with for years. They are kind of like Egghead that way, in not caring about what you have bought, but in what you buy now. How sad. Repeat business is what keeps a company fluid.
Well, it used to be. Now it's who can we screw?

I'd use their website for information on a product, than buy it someplace else. Till they get their stuff together, better.

I've not bought from them in over, uhm, six, maybe seven years. Had a friend buy a year ago, & she got the same crap. It was the only site she remembered me talking about (darn)!
