My cell phone bill has a $9.99 charge on it for numerous months for Thumbs48000. I first went to my cell phone provider to try to get it handled and that just wasted time and cost money while it was not removed from my bill. The I went to the web and found that Thumbs48000 is a notorious ringtone slamming entity. I don't remember responding to a text message or anything to start some ringtone download service but when I bought a new cell phone last summer, I may have clicked on a message that I thought was just a test of the text message service. I think I have now got them to cancel the "service". I have requested it, but have not yet received a bill without the charge. I never used the service.
